Every parent wants a safe, affordable place to send their kids after school. The SPOT offers that and much more and it is FREE! When your child comes after school you get peace of mind knowing they are under the guidance of professional and caring staff and volunteers. We empower teens to excel in school, lead healthy lives and become good citizens in our community.
Youth and Family Resources is a faith based youth development program that serves students in grades 6th thru 12th in Smith County Tennessee and is 100% free. Our non-profit organization is a team of community volunteers, partnerships with city leaders, local churches and our Smith County Schools.
Our Volunteers
All of the teens that are in our care are supervised by a group of caring, adult volunteers. Every volunteer goes through a background check and training. There are two adults for every five students. We currently have between 75-100 students that attend The Spot.
